Karel Occupied management functions in corporate, retail and private banking at Deutsche Bank (1986 – 1995)

Afterwards he became Managing Director and member of the board at bpost bank (1995 – 2000)

As from 2000 he worked for Egon Zehnder, in Financial Services and Public Sector where he gave advice and works on projects for (inter)national companies, supervisors, governors, multilateral organisations. He was a consultant regarding governance, succession planning for CEOs and management functions, organisational questions regarding assessment and development.
